Udupi: Catholic Stri Sanghatan demands action against assaulters of officials at protest

Udupi, Apr 6: Members of Catholic Stri Sanghatan, Perampalli submitted a memorandum copy to district superintendent of police on Tuesday, April 4 demanding the arrest of all attackers who attempted to murder DC Priyanka Mary Francis and AC Shilpa Nag recently.

The organisation members condemned the entire act that occurred in Kundapur. "The illegal sand miners attacked a sincere and honest district commissioner and other officials. It is unacceptable and was a heinous act, especially on women officials," they held.







The women's union demanded a detailed investigation on the same, and the arrest of all assaulters and culprits involved in sand mafia and urged strict action against them.

President Leena D’Souza, secretary Faustine D’Souza, Irene D’Souza, Melita D’Souza, Delphine D’Souza and others were present.
