Mangaluru, Apr 7: A young man died and another suffered injuries after coming into contact with high tension power line on Thursday April 6. The incident occurred near Krishnapura near Suratkal.
The deceased was Ibrahim (25), resident of Krishnapura seventh block. Nazeer from Krishnapura sixth block was injured in this incident.
Both Ibrahim and Nazeer have been operating a shop dealing in cellphones and spare parts at Krishnapura seventh block. Both of them had climbed the complex in which their shop is situated, to fix a board of the shop. During this process, they accidentally came in contact with high tension cables passing above the building and suffered serious injuries. Both of them were rushed to a hospital. Ibrahim later succumbed to his injuries.
A case about this incident was filed in Suratkal police station.
