Moodbidri: Tempo hits car - youth dies in road accident

Moodbidri, Apr 8: After a tempo carrying gas cylinders hit a car at Thodar village near here on Friday April 7, a person seated inside the car was killed. The people in the car were moving towards the town to attend a marriage function when tragedy struck, it is gathered.

Manohar, who hails from Bengaluru, lost his life in this accident.

The car, a Maruti WagonR, was bound for Haveri from Ganjimath when it was hit by the gas tempo on national highway head-on.  Manohar, employed in a factory manufacturing bags at Ganjimath, was going to Haveri with other colleagues in the car to  attend a marriage. It is gathered that the marriage function of a colleague of these employees was scheduled to held at Haveri on Saturday.
