Panaji, Mar 21: Fiona Mackeown, mother of slain british teenager, scarlett Eden keeling, has decided to take her daughter's body for final rites next week.

"She will be taking the body next week and we are coordinating with the undertaker on this issue," Vikram Varma, Fiona's lawyer, said today.

Scarlett was allegedly drugged, raped and murdered on goa's popular Anjuna beach on February 18. Police have already nabbed two locals – a barman Samson D'souza and an alleged drug dealer Placido Carvalho – for drugging, raping and murdering Scarlett.

Fiona has already been issued no objection certificate by local police to carry the body back home.

Varma confirmed that Fiona was in double mind whether to go back to UK and come back to fight for justice or wait here as state home minister Ravi Naik has already stated that government does not favour re-issuing her the visa.

"We will write to the union home ministry and external affairs ministry not to re-issue her the visa and ban her entry in India again," Naik had said earlier.

Fiona's lawyer said that Fiona wants to continue fight for the justice till all those involved in cover up are prosecuted.

"We are waiting for the communication from the Prime Minister's office. If it does not come in next four to five days, we will move to the high court with the petition," Varma said.

Fiona wrote to the prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh demanding CBI probe in the matter.

Meanwhile, a sting operation by leading national channel, has sparked a heated debate in the state with opposition demanding inquiry by central agencies in the allegations leveled in the operation.

The operation aired on NDTV alleges home minister Ravi Naik's son Roy's involvement in the drug trade.

It reportedly showed deputy superintendent of police, Shamba Sawant, speaking about home minister's son's involvement in the drug trade.

The sting has come close on the heels of the allegations leveled by Fiona alleging home minister's involvement in the drug trade. Scarlett was drugged, raped and murdered on goa's popular anjuna beach.

Police chief B S Brar had conveyed a special press conference on Thursday to clear the allegations on home minister. "Home minister or his son has not connected with the drug trade," the DGP stated.

Goa's main opposition, BJP, however, has demanded that central agencies should investigate in the matter.

Pointing out to the sting, the BJP has demanded that inquiry by central agency should be conducted in the drug trade allegations as it involves home minister himself.
