Islamabad, April 25 (IANS): Four "hardcore terrorists" were hanged in a jail in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan on Tuesday, the military said.
Rehmanuddin, Mushtaq Khan, Obaidur Rehman and Zafar Iqbal were Tehreek-e-Taliban militant group members and were tried by military courts, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
They were involved in killing of civilians and attacking Pakistani military personnel and law enforcement agencies, an ISPR statement said.
All of them possessed firearms and explosives at the time of arrest and confessed their offences in the court.
