Sunny Wednesday morning in Delhi


New Delhi, Apr 26 (IANS): It was a sunny Wednesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 23 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

Light showers on Tuesday night in parts of NCR and neighbouring state of Haryana and Rajasthan brought down the mercury, the Met office said.

Thunderstorms and rain were likely on Wednesday, the weather office added.

"The sky would remain partly cloudy with possibility of development of thunder and lightning," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here.

The humidity at 8 a.m. was 73 per cent.

The maximum temperature on Wednesday was likely to hover around 38 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 23.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the maximum temperature settled at 38.3 degrees.
