Huge blast rocks area near Damascus airport: SOHR

Damascus, Apr 27 (IANS): A large explosion rocked the area near the international airport here in the Syrian capital on Thursday, said a war monitor.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), however, did not provide any further details of casualties, Efe news reported.

It also added that the cause, as well as the source of the explosion, which struck 30 km southeast of here, remained unknown.
