BJP MP honey-trap case: Woman arrested

New Delhi, May 2 (PTI): The Delhi Police today arrested a woman who had allegedly honey-trapped a BJP MP and demanded Rs five crore from him.

K C Patel, the MP from Gujarat's Valsad, filed a complaint with the police last week following which the woman approached a city court, claiming the police did not act on her rape complaint against the lawmaker.

While the woman had alleged that the MP raped her on several occasions, Patel claimed he was drugged and obscene videos and photos were shot by her. Patel had alleged the woman invited him to a place in Ghaziabad for some work where she offered him a soft drink which was laced with sedatives, police said.

The woman was arrested from her home in Ghaziabad, the police said. Police had claimed that it has emerged that the woman was involved in similar instances earlier. The MP claimed she threatened to file a rape case against him if he did not pay her Rs five crore.

Further details are awaited.

Both should have been arrested. Normally, a person of MP cadre do not go to a woman's house alone, especially if he knew that she was involved in alleged illegal activities in the past as claimed. Did he go to the hospital after drinking the drink with sedation? How does he knew he dozed with sedation? Looks like police are siding. What about the Sec.498C of Cr.P.C? She should complain to the Speaker of the House and the President of India.

The court case of such nature should be live telecast so that people can decide as to who is the culprit, how the lawyers and judges twist the facts to favour political bosses.Whether 56" chest has got the guts to accept my challenge. Can any of the die hard fans of BJP make my challenge reach the prime minister.
If a judge can be sacked for granting bail there should not be problem for live telecasting the court case.

Let the lies of MP be exposed in the court of law as police is already siding with him. The present govt is busy in giving their members clean chit while trying to trap opposition leaders in false cases. The Judges are suspended for not passing orders favorable to them like In Prajapathis case.
