Bengal government's activities not seen positively: Harsh Vardhan

Kolkata, May 3 (IANS): Union Science and Technology Minister Harsh Vardhan on Wednesday said the West Bengal government's activities are not discussed in positive light.

"Everyone knows what the Bengal government is doing. I get the information from people that everyone is very sad and distressed. There is discussion on Bengal everywhere. I do not get to hear anything positive about Bengal during my interactions," he told the media here on the sidelines of the Department of Science and Technology Conclave.

About his Bharatiya Janata Party's success in the Delhi civic body polls, Harsh Vardhan said people's mandate is clear that they are with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"It is also clear that the government that was in power for the last two years in Delhi was neglecting the interest of the people in equivalence of the huge mandate it was elected to power with. People have made it clear they were involved in scams and scandal," he said referring to the Aam Aadmi Party.
