Home Ministry asks Kejriwal's AAP to furnish details of foreign funding

New Delhi, May 5 (PTI): The ruling Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi was on Friday asked by the government to furnish details of overseas funding to it following suspicion that it might have violated the provisions of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), an official said.

In a communication, the Union Home Ministry asked the Arvind Kejriwal-led party to explain certain fundings from abroad after suspecting that it might have violated FCRA provisions.

The MHA official said the communication to the AAP was part of its "routine" queries sent to a few other political parties regarding overseas funding to them.

The official made it clear that it was not a show cause notice and a decision on it would be taken only after the AAP submits its reply.

JK, in other words, BJP and Congress are hell bent to destroy AAP because if AAP come to power many politicians will land in jail for their karma. AAP is the only honest party and all its members are well educated unlike other politicians who are with numerous criminal cases. Every effort is made to destroy AAP and now it is proved that to remain in power, one has to kill his conscience first then talk something and do exactly the opposite.

As per the new financial bill presented by Finance ministry Arun Jaitley and passed by Lok Sabha in the last session without Rajya Sabha, corporates can fund the political parties anonymously which was earlier set at maximum of 7% of total profit in last three years of business. They have also amended the individual contribution which will be now regulate by RBI through bonds which can be more than the earlier stated amount Rs 20000 and person can be still anonymous.
It is also noted that Modi government has quietly moved to let the Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress off the legal hook for violating the Foreign Contribution Act 2010 (FCRA) when they accepted donations from the London-based multinational, Vedanta.
The FCRA bans political parties from receiving funds from any foreign source. In its original provision, the law defines “foreign source” to include any company with foreign investment of above 50%.
Jaitley Redefines ‘Foreign’ as ‘Indian’ to get BJP, Congress off the hook for FCRA violation.Under the new definition, so long as the foreign company’s ownership of an Indian entity is within the foreign investment limits prescribed by the government for that sector, the company will be treated as “Indian” for the purposes of the FCRA.
In March 2014, a division bench of the Delhi high court asked the government and the Election Commission to act against the two parties for accepting donations from Vedanta subsidiaries. The court asked the Union home ministry to “relook and reappraise the receipts of the political parties and identify foreign contributions received by foreign sources” and take action within six months.
It is nothing pure political vendetta against AAP to starve from funding. Whereas BJP who has spent 5 billion in Lok Sabha elections should be accountable for all funding they received.
What about black money at the heart of Indian democracy? Why BJP don't disclose the political funding in public domain if it is serious about corruption?

First furnish the foreign funding details of VHP, RSS & BJP, then ask from other parties. But this Nautanki Kejriwal deserved for this. He started 'India against corruption movement' and his partner Anna Hazare had requested people not to vote for congress. Means that movement was against Congress which initiated by BJP agents like Kiran Bedi, Sazia Ilmi and Anna Hazare. Kejriwal was power hungry and was dreaming to become the PM of India. Now Kejriwal is in difficult condition. If he want to survive, dissolve AAP and join either BJP or Congress led Grand Alliance. Because in coming days there will be only two Political strength in the picture and people have to chose any one. Those who are in the middle like Kejriwal, Owaisi will lose their credibility and will lose the deposits across the country.

That is the reason why no action is taken to stop cow slaughtering for beef export. That cow is not matha ? No one blind bhakt talks on this beef export issue. Why Gau Rakshaks do not raid beef exporting units and save cows ? Reason is they too have share in it.

BJP is misusing its power to intimidate a honest and the most transparent political party in India now. Will this same yardstick apply to BJP while they are benifitted in millions from oversees funds on various grounds and cause????. At present BJP is enjoying the single most powerful political party in India virtually unopposed so no one has strength to stand against and oppose them!!!!.
