Mishra 'shares evidence' against Kejriwal in Rs 400 crore scam

New Delhi, May 8 (PTI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator Kapil Mishra today submitted documents to the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) to back his allegations that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had delayed the probe into a Rs 400 crore tanker scam.

A day after he said he had witnessed Kejriwal take Rs 2 crore from Health Minister Satyendra Jain in another case, Mishra alleged that the investigation into the tanker scam that dated back to Sheila Dikshit's tenure as chief minister was repeatedly delayed and influenced by Kejriwal and "his two men".

Mishra said he had shared all the evidence related to the tanker scam with the ACB. "I told the officials how Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal deliberately delayed the report and how public money was misused."

"Also, I told them how Kejriwal along with his two men affected the tanker scam probe. The government also tried to shield Sheila Dikshit time and again. ACB will call me again for a detailed investigation," he told reporters after the meeting.

Mishra, who was sacked as minister on Saturday, also demanded a lie detector on his allegations that he was an eyewitness to the Rs 2 crore exchanging hands between Kejriwal and Jain. He said that a lie detector test be conducted on all three.

Mishra has claimed Jain had told him in a private conversation that he had "settled" a Rs 50 crore land deal in favour of a relative of the chief minister.

Mishra further said that he has sought an appointment with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the Rs 2 crore allegations.

The bombshell prompted calls from the BJP and Congress for Kejriwal's ouster, but AAP stood solidly behind its leader, insisting there was no merit in the allegation. The tanker scam relates to alleged irregularities in the hiring of private tankers to supply water.

Well i would give the benefit of doubt to Mr kejeriwaal as the accuser was not forthcoming with the details when the televisio achors asked accuser the date and the time of bribe. he kept on saying that he will give to ACB, CBI etc. why was it so difficult to give the details?

However, this man kejeriwaal did many blunders which was his own making. he would have been much respected if he had not shared stages with the currupt Congress & Lalu. infact he gave a bear hug to Lalu who is a convicted criminal. Since he was a man with a mission agaist corruption even a small blot will not go down well with the people.

There is a age old saying slow & steady wins the race. Mr kejeriwaal does not seem to beleive in this. It also seems that the 67 seats out of 70 made him loose the balance. The assembly polls in Punjab & Goa was great leveller.

For anything & everything he started to blame PM. Hiding behind this will not protect him from public scrutiy for long. It has outlived its utility. why is scared to blame to blame Modi now?

ONE TIME HE SAYS TWO CRORES. AND I TOLD YESTERDAY THAT HE IS THE CM.

2 CR IS PEANUT FOR HIM. IF HE WANT TO TAKE HE WOULD HAVE TAKEN 400 CRORES.

NOW MISHRA REALISED THAT NO BODY IS INTRESTED IN 2 CR. SO HE MADE 400 CR STORY.

As I stated before, Kejri will do anything to which he thinks good for him. Good thing is, he doesn't have all the power in Delhi, which he was fighting with center for.

There is absolutely no merit in Mishra's allegations. He just knows unrelated some newspaper headline stories but he can not provide any clinching evidence and fine details as the case gets deeper and deeper. He himself is not sure about his allegations and expecting ACB to come back to him for clarification.
Most important point to be noted is Honourable CM of Delhi Sri Arvind Kejriwal is an honest and intelligent person and will not put himself in this dirty mess and his party if isomething is against his party principles. One more thing inspite of expected backlash when a proven corrupt minister is sacked, Kejriwal still went ahead with what is right for the party. Will BJP do this?. I didn't think so, instead that minister would have got the cleanest of the clean chit.

Submit these papers to Guswamy for a heated fish market type debate. Mishra was deep asleep all these years and suddenly woke up when he is kicked out for his poor performance. There is no scope for sleeping ministers in AAP. Mr. Kajeriwal is a fearless leader. Fearless because he is clean and non-corrupt. Kajeriwal sir, well done. Be tough in your decisions without favor or fear.

Kejriwal is tasting his own medicine. Once upon a time he was branding all Congress leaders as corrupt. Now others making allegation on him and he is feeling the heat. India's most honest person is emerged as No.1 corrupt in the country. What goes around....comes around.
