Gujarat Deputy CM's heavily drunk son taken Off Qatar Airways flight

Ahmedabad, May 9 (IANS) : Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel's son was barred from boarding a Qatar Airways flight to Greece after he arrived in a "heavily drunken" state and argued with airline staff, officials said.

Jaimin Patel, his wife Jhalak and their daughter Vaishvi were stopped from boarding the plane, which was scheduled to take off at 4 am, airport officials told IANS.
When Jaimin reached Ahmedabad International Airport, he was unable to walk due to his inebriated state. He went through the immigration and other checks in a wheelchair due to his drunken state, officials told IANS.

"Jaimin Patel was prevented from boarding the flight. He also had an argument with the staff," the official said.

Nitin Patel told reporters in Gandhinagar that this was a ploy to defame him. "My son, his wife and daughter were going for a vacation. He was not feeling well."

"His wife called up home and then it was decided that they will return," the 60-year-old minister said. "My opponents are trying to tarnish my image by spreading false and mischievous information.”

Is this Deputy Chief Minister of 'Gujarat Model' belongs to PM Modi's 'Good governance'.
This incident has come in the backdrop of Shiv Sena MP abusing on duty staff of national carrier Air India.
Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has earlier defended the unruly MP, saying his travel ban by air obstruct to discharge his duty to the nation.
Gujarat has, on paper, prohibited liquor since 1948 - out of respect for Mahatma Gandhi's views on alcohol. Interestingly, between February 2015 and March this year, the state government itself allowed 16 new liquor permit shops to open - taking their number to 52, citing "tourism promotion."
The slogan for Bachchan's campaign is 'Khushboo Gujarat Ki' or 'the Fragrance of Gujarat has kicked one more 'Model' from boarding the aircraft.
Is BJP will support his behaviour or take disciplinary action is big question?

Funny justification by the Deputy CM. Why would Greece or Quatar Airways want to defame someone as insignificant as Gujarat' DyCM. By the way, how did he get liquor in a state where it is banned. This exposes Modi and BJP's hypocrisy.

Qatar airways respectfully asked this drunk son of Deputy PM from Gujrat not to board the plane. It is funny that drunken son father says that his son was sick and going for holidying in Greece. There is a limit to tell lie and bjp members have crossed the limit. They start their day by telling lie and go to sleep only after telling a lie. This is the basic lesson given to them by Nagpur University.

Booze is easily available (under permit) in Gujarat for armed force personnel and also to the visitors to the state who stay in reputed hotels. Just an identity card and hotel`s letter is sufficient.
