Mangalore, Mar 28: Ladies Social Service League celebrated family day at chapel premises of St Antony’s Charitable Homes, Jeppu on Thursday March 27 evening.

Earlier, Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza celebrated the Eucharist at the chapel with hundreds of Ladies Social Service League members.

Later in the stage programme, Fr Walter D’Mello, parish priest of Milagres Church, who completed silver jubilee of priesthood and Fr Clifford D’Souza, who completed golden jubilee of priesthood, were felicitated on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Walter D’Mello sought prayers from all in order to continue spiritual service in the same manner as he did during his early years in the diocese. He also recalled the role of Fr Clifford D’Souza who inspired him in his early days of priesthood. 

Fr Frederick Pereira and Fr Santosh were present. 

Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza presided over the function. Octavia Albuquerque welcomed the gathering. Lily Ferrao compered the programme.
