NRI Woman Complains of Rape in Goa's Five Star Hotel

Panaji, Apr 1:  A 52 year old New york based non resident Indian (NRI) woman has complained of a rape in Goa's renowned five star hotel.
 
Panaji police have registered the complaint after they received the communication from Delhi police, where the woman has filed the complaint.
 
Police stated that the incident occurred on March seven in the five star hotel when she was dragged into the room from a stairway and raped by an unknown person.
 
The woman, who did not complained to Goa police, went to Delhi and filed a complaint there. Officials confirmed that Delhi police has conducted medical examination on this woman, who was down in Goa on a holiday.
 
The incident was reported to delhi police on March 17, officials added.
 
Panaji police confirming the receipt of complaint said that they will call the victim to Goa as she is required for the medical examination
