German woman killed, Finnish woman kidnapped in Kabul


Kabul, May 21 (IANS): Unidentified armed men killed a German woman at a guesthouse in Kabul and kidnapped a Finnish woman, a security official said on Sunday.

The incident took place on Saturday night around 11.30 p.m., in Police District 7, in the western part of the Afghan capital, the official told Efe news.

The attackers first attacked and killed a guard, and then entered the guest house from where they "kidnapped a Finnish woman and killed a German one," Interior Ministry spokesperson Najib Danish confirmed.
