Bengaluru, Jun 6: A man was arrested here on Monday, June 5 for clicking pictures of women in an Information Technology (IT) company toilets.
Paramesh (22) is the person arrested. As per police, hails from Mangaluru.
As per details, Paramesh worked for a restaurant in an IT software company. He would go to the women toilets and click their pictures and videos using his mobile phone. Police have seized the mobile phone where lots of pictures and videos were saved.
Paramesh would go to a toilet, lock the door from inside and wait. Whenever a woman visited one of the next toilets, he would open his mobile to record and click. Paramesh has been working in the same restaurant for the past 5 years. It is not known yet as to since when he started doing this indecent work.
On June 3, a women IT employee spotted Paramesh recording the video of her from the next toilet. She immediately informed the women security of the company. When the security and employees knocked on the toilet where Parameshwar was there, he did not respond. Then they broke open the door and manhandled Paramesh. But somehow Paramesh managed to run from there.
Later the police went to the place where Paramesh stayed and arrested him. It is said that he was packing his suitcase to leave for Mangaluru.
Police have registered a case.
