How sad.We indians have a bad habit of punishing the children with hitting what you get nearby.and for any thing. Many times it goes simply wrong .Later we feel sorry but too late.Better think first and control your anger ,or think two times ,before handling.Sure the girl had neglected the studies and fell in love with a man.Mother could have advised her or controlled her studys .or arrange for a alternative.Instead of hitting her, could make arrangements to give tutions and make her appear next exam.World doesnt go down suppose one fails once. Not everybody is a genie. She must have hit her without thinking and out of anger which gone quite failed and dead. Now she must be feeling sorry for hitting.Sad may the girls soul rest in peace.Hope the mother doesnt get the hard punishment ,if she has other children at home,it will be a catastroph.

If failing, let her find a small job, in that way she can finance at home too or could have got her married. Most boys are not ready for marriage when asked, one needs to check as for security of the girl it was important to get married as she was already 18. Killing was not a solution.

A lot of counseling is required by the parents instead of taking a harsh step.It can be set it right by even prayers and lot to told about the future that they are tough days ahead, instead concentrate on studies and tell her how to stand on your own legs.Even way I feel extremely sad now she has to face the law of the land and the extreme loss of her daughter.

All parents are having dreams that there children's become success in life.
Inspite of mother was doing hard work as a labor she go on nesting better future for her daughter to bring name to the family.
Might be mother always thinking let another generation people live happily as she suffered the most.
What's happened is nothing but due to fit of rage..as she lovef the daughter the most.
Whenever we are in anger..keep aside..and think of consequences first.
