Cabinet nod for MoU between India, Armenia


New Delhi, June 14 (IANS): The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday gave its approval for a MoU signed between India and Armenia a month ago on youth matters.

The April MoU will remain in force for five years, an official statement said. 

"The objective of the MoU is to strengthen and encourage cooperation between the two countries on youth matters through participation in events and activities, information and knowledge sharing and youth exchanges," an official statement said. 

The MoU will also be applicable for extension of invitations to international conferences and seminars on youth matters held in the two countries, exchange of printed materials, films and experiences.
