Mangaluru, Jun 30: Edmond D'Souza (76), resident of Adam Kudru in the outskirts of the city, lost his life after falling into a pond near his home on Thursday June 29 morning.
It is gathered that D'Souza had come near the pond to relieve himself. The family members suspect that he would have accidentally slipped and fallen into the pond. After finding that Edmond had not come back for long, family members went searching for him. His body was found floating in the pond.
A case of unnatural death relating to this incident was filed in Kankanady police station.
