Oil tanker collides with ship in English Channel


Paris, July 1 (IANS): An oil tanker carrying 38,000 tonnes of oil through the English Channel collided with a cargo ship off the northern coast of France on Saturday, close to the UK.

Authorities were working to examine whether the tanker's contents had leaked and whether anyone was injured in the collision, which took place off France's Pas-de-Calais region, reports Efe news.
