Vaman Kamat Passes Away

Panaji, Apr 23: A senior citizen of Madkai village, Vaman alias Mhabllu Vishnu Kamat passed away on Tuesday, 22 April, after brief illness, at Goa Medical College.

He was a father of Prakash Kamat, Goa correspondent for “The Hindu’’ News paper.

He is survived by wife Padmawati, son Deepak, Prakash, Dattanand, daughter in law Amita, Parvish, Sonal, also daughter and son in law Shakuntala Nicholas Dias, Mudit Ajit Prabhu desai, Shyamal Pravin Pednekar.

His last rites will take place on Wednesday (23 April) at Madkai. The Funeral procession will start from his residence at 12 PM.
