Pakistan minister survives militant attack


Islamabad, Jul 6 (IANS): A Pakistani minister on Thursday survived an attack in Balochistan's Panjgur town, the media reported.

Balochistan Health Minister Rehmat Saleh Baloch's convoy was targeted while he was travelling to Prom area from Panjgur, Dawn news quoted a senior police official as saying.

Baloch and his aides escaped unharmed.

The militants used various weapons including rockets in the attack. The assailants managed to escape, the official added.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack as yet.
