Mangaluru: Khader slams BJP leaders over DK unrest, appeals for peace

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Jul 9: Minister for food and civil supplies U T Khader lashed out at BJP leaders for polticising the unrest that is happening in Dakshina Kannada district in the past few days.

In a press release, he said that maintaining peace in Dakshina Kannada is the utmost priority of the state government, and appealed religious as well as political leaders to unite to restore peace in the district.

He said that miscreants who are motivated to disrupt peace in the district will not be successful and the state government will ensure that strict action will be taken against them.

He said that compensation will be awarded to the family members of SDPI activist Mohammed Ashraf and RSS worker Sharath Madivala, who were killed recently. Both do not have criminal backgrounds and were killed by miscreants belonging to different organizations, he said.

While directing police to keep an eye for rumours spreading on social media, he slammed union minister D V Sadananda Gowda and Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje for issuing 'irresponsible statements'.

Earlier, Shobha Karandlaje had alleged that district in-charge minister Ramanath Rai and minister U T Khader were responsible for communal unrest in the district and had asked CM Siddaramaiah to expel them. Meanwhile, DV Sandanada Gowda had blamed the ministers’ for ‘vitiating the situation in Dakshina Kannada district’.

You are right ,congress always played vote bank politics by appeasing poor people and minorities by giving rice and providing Bhagyas. No education , no jobs and no development. With their schemes,Poor became more poor. They always kept the country in dark without solving JK 370. If they had to remove 370 article long back there wouldn't have been problems what we are facing today. Demography of that area would have been same like rest of the country. They want to stick to power with dynasty rule and now the people of the country realised their true colours. MM Singh was the best PM but he was forced to remain silent.

There are similar attempts are being made by BJP cash in on West Bengal violence using Gujarat riots photo.

On Saturday Nupur Sharma, BJP Spokesperson used an image from 2002 Gujarat communal riots and called for the protest against West Bengal violence at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.
It is to be noted that earlier, Vijeta Malik, BJP leader from Haryana shared a movie still to show the ‘plight of Hindus’ in West Bengal. Malik shared a picture of woman getting disrobed in public, a scene from one of Manoj Tiwari’s popular Bhopuri films ‘Aurat khilona nahi’.

BJP is making all out efforts to woo majority Hindu vote bank in coastal Karnataka by creating communal divide and giving them sense of insecurity which they used very successfully in UP.

As Karnataka is heading for state election next year, we can expect more communal tension in the coming months. It may come from social media, hate speakers in the love from loveless people from BJP's behind scene cottage industry.
Unless majority of wise Hindus don't understand the real motives of 'Hindutva' which they wanted to gift them as Hindu Rashtra, Karnataka may also head the same way of YOGI Rashtra of UP governed roaming 'cow vigilantes'.
Mangalorean has been electing BJP ever since 1991 for 25 years. We must have already surpassed the Gujarat Model into smart city of India.
Unfortunately living standard to the education or peace everything dropping to the lowest.
Though Mangaloreans are educated they are not wise enough to elect right people's representatives.
It won't be surprise if Kalladka, pumpwell may get nominated like CT Ravi or V Sunil kumar for BJP MLA Karkala who hails from Sangh Parivar.

The only reason for unrest in Mangalore district is ruling Congress inability to act tough. It need 'zero tolerance' against mischief mongers, hate speakers, rapist swamis' or RTI murders etc. This has only emboldened the criminals to come in open and disturb peaceful environment.

There are only few dozen members of who exploit in the name religion. If Home ministry don't talk tough it will certainly lose to their demands.

In other hand state BJP has already started early elections mode by vitiate communal tension by inciting majority community for vote bank polarisation.BJP has gone back to the same tactics of communal agenda which it used in Gujarat, UP and Bihar.

Though Mangaloreans seems to be educated people electing BJP since 1991 for last 25 years. The city seems to far ahead than rest of India under BJP leadership. Unfortunately from investment to education seems to dropping . Once loving people lived together is known force to hate each other.

Do Mangalorean want 'Godhra' model as sitting MP has already predicted or real 'smart city' ? If Mangaloreans need to be more wise in the coming days electing able leader who can bring back good old days.

The State government should infiltrate RSS, BD. PFI. KFD and other groups which cause communal turmoil and violence The foot soldiers of these groups get caught and punished or killed but the ring leaders of these groups are never arrested, prosecuted and punished.

I was seeing all comments and want to put my views. I want to make very clear that i'm neither a Congress supporter nor BJP nor any religious organisations. After India got Independence undivided Coastal karnartaka was ruled mostly by Congress and prominent were janardhan Poojary, Oscar fernandes & Verappa Moily. They used always win by saying Congress is always supporter of the poor people, lower class etc etc. When it came to Development or Employment none. Pls note many Co. came like MRPL etc etc how many Kannadigas have got jobs or our so called politicians fought for getting the job. Very few. Our Politicians used to come during election give 30 kgs rice, alcohol etc and win elections. There used to minor communal fights and skirmishes used to be always there and the Politicians used to take the minority side for many reasons. Pls dont mistake me. Janardhan Poojary in 1992 went to Ullal and he first went to Ullala Dargah and then to Baghavathi Temple. No issues in going there, I have huge belief in this dargah but people started saying many things. In 1992 he said some negative things about Dharmadhikari Veerendra Hegde and that is the end of Janardhan Poojary from that time onwards it was his downfall and BJP made inroads in our twin districts. Same thing with Oscar and Veerappa Moily and they could not win elections and they had to find other places connections etc. I always say that to make inroads for BJP in twin districts Congress is the sole reason. Never our Politicians will talk about offering employment, infrastructure etc. They will only talk about poor people giving 30 kgs rice etc. Pls note in the next election 2 constituency which were congress strong hold will go to BJP i.e Banwala and Mudabidre. Congress is always blaming others. Pls correct yourself and win confidence among communities irrespective of religion, caste then see the result. Here 1 party is blaming others, 1 religion is blaming others. etc etc..

I request the Hindu's to just think practically which political party is benefited by Communal Riots,
60% of the population in Mangalore lok sabha constituency are Hindu's
30% Muslim Population(Out of the 30% half of them are in the gulf who cannot vote)

Hindu's just think which political party is the beneficiary?
Always why there is a riot just Months before the election? For Eg: Muzaffarpur nagar riots just before the UP election. Who was the beneficiary in UP election.

Looking at the riots, its advantage BJP in 2018. I repeat not by the development it is just because of riots. Congratulations BJP in advance.
