Washington, Jul 26 (IANS): For fans of Donald Trump, a rare chance to collect a genuine piece of artwork by the US President has finally arrived.
At a price about $10,000, the 11.5" by 9" (29.2cm by 22.9cm) sketch of the New York City skyline is composed of six high-rises depicted as mongline rectangles and triangles, Xinhua news agency reported.
In the centre of the drawing is the Trump tower, the President's namesake property in downtown New York, which stands out from all the block buildings with some exclusive details.
Below the buildings are wavy lines and Trump's signature scrawled with a golden pen.
Showing no signs of adjustments or colouring, the drawing may have taken less than a minute to finish.
According to the auction house, the drawing was made in 2005 for a charity event aiming to eliminate illiteracy.
The auction house said the drawing is "very rare, with only a handful of such drawings known".
In "near fine condition," the sketch was originally priced at $9,000, and with less than two days left in the auction, two bidders have already raised the bid to $9,900.
