7 Central Asians held for plotting St. Petersburg attacks


Moscow, July 28 (IANS): At least seven persons from Central Asia were arrested on Friday by the Federal Security Bureau of Russia for plotting terrorist attacks in St. Petersburg, the agency said on Friday.

"The Federal Security Service on July 28 detained a group of seven people, who come from the Central Asian region, as they are suspected of plotting terrorist attacks in St. Petersburg's railway transport and public places," TASS news agency quoted the FSB as saying.
