Bird-hit Jet Airways flight lands at Jodhpur


Jaipur, July 28 (IANS): A Jet Airways Mumbai-Jodhpur flight with 167 people aboard landed safely in Jodhpur in Rajasthan after it was hit by a bird while coming to land, an airline statement said.

"As a precautionary measure, the Captain decided to abort the landing and carry out a go around. The aircraft later landed safely without any incident," said the statement.

The Boeing 737-800 aircraft was being inspected by the airline's engineers.
