Typhoon Haitang lands in east China's Fujian


Beijing, Jul 31 (IANS): Typhoon Haitang, the 10th typhoon this year, landed at 2:50 a.m. local time on Monday in Fuqing City in China.

Packing wind of a maximum speed of 18 metres per second, the tropical cyclone came after the ninth one Nesat, which landed in the same city on Sunday, Xinhua news agency quoted provincial meteorological observatory as saying.
