Udupi: Derisive comments about Krishna Math in Facebook, complaint lodged

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (PS/SP)

Udupi, Aug 3: An official of Sode Math, which happens to be one of the eight Maths here, has filed a complaint alleging that an article showing Srikrishna Math here in poor light has been posted in social website, Facebook.

Sampath Kumar, Aishu Bhat, Aishwarya Shetty and Laxmi K Rao are the accused.

The Math has named Dr Sampath Kumar Koteshwar as the person who posted this article in Facebook. Allegedly, Sampath wrote in a Facebook page with which Sode Math office bearer, Yogeesh Shet, is also involved, duly wondering in his post as to what can one expect from iconoclasts based in Udupi who celebrate Ashtami on two different days with an eye on money.

When this post received adverse comments from people who are devotees of the Math, Sampath, Aishu Bhat, Aishwarya Shetty and Laxmi K Rao made further comments about Srikrishna Math on July 29 and 30, which have insulting content about the Math, the complainant said.

Yogeesh Shet, the complainant, has registered case in the town police station.

Police personnel are looking into the matter.
