Sullia, Aug 3: Shivashankar (46) from Naganakatte, who was working as surveyor in the revenue department here, ended his life at his native place, Naganakatte. Shivashankar is learnt to have consumed poison at Naganakatte within the limits of Ijoor police station in Ramanagara district on Monday evening. His end came on Tuesday August 1.
It is learnt that Shivashankar, who had become addicted to liquor since some years, was in depression for long. He was not attending his office. He was admitted into the government hospital at Ramanagara but he could not be saved.
