Jalpaiguri, Aug 27 (PTI): Two persons were allegedly lynched by a mob, which dragged them out of a pick-up van carrying cows, at Barhoria village in Jalpaiguri district today, the police said.
Anwar Hussain (19) and Hafizul Sheikh (19) were beaten to death by the mob, which intercepted their vehicle and pulled them out of it in the early hours, the police said, adding that the pick-up van was also badly damaged by the mob.
Police took Hussain and Sheikh to the Dhupguri hospital where they were declared brought dead. The police also took charge of the animals in the vehicle.
A large contingent of police was deployed in the area.

Mon, Aug 28 2017Gourakshak= Nagpur groups. Modi sheltering terror groups.
Few days before one of its memeber, the BJP leader of Chattisgarh Harish Verma caught for starving to death over 200 cows in his goshala and selling its meat and skin in the market. Who deserve the lynching ? The hypcrite paid media and blind Modi bhkats are turned blind eyes.

Sun, Aug 27 2017Select one person from this mob and make him the P.M. It is now very clear that the current P.M. cannot or does not want to put an end to this lynching. Making occasional noises does not help. Where is the action? India has now become a cattle raj. I just heard that a Cattle Ministry is going to be formed. Such killings can never take place without the blessings of the government.

Sun, Aug 27 2017The 'Gauathakwand' licenced by BJP had created an atmosphere of fear among Muslims and Dalits around the country in the name of cow protection. "We believe all this is being done with understanding... this is for political harvesting of votes. When our own home is weak, how will we deal with external threats?'
'Nobody has any right to be a judge, jury or executioner of innocent Indians or even of guilty Indians. The law must take its course. Lynching survives because of impunity, because mobs feel they can get away with it. That is why we need a law.'
"For the first time, NCRB has started recording lynching incidents since 2014.The anti-lynching law 'Masuka' or the 'Manav Suraksha Kanoon' proposed by rights activists has become a focal point of Opposition unity against the BJP.
According to an Observer Research Foundation analysis, in January 2011, of the total incidents of lynching, merely 5 per cent were related to cow or gau rakshaks. That has risen to 20 per cent of the total incidents by June.
A recent report by India Spend reveals that 97 per cent of all attacks by gau rakshaks between 2010 and 2017, were reported after Modi government came to power.
The majority of the cases have been reported from BJP-ruled states and 61 of a total 63 cases were registered after the formation of gau raksha dals and the implementation of "beef ban".
No one knows who is next on the radar of these vigilantes. Before another precious life is lost, we must, as a country, ensure this legal and societal change.
The BJP government is not considering enacting a separate law to tackle mob lynching incidents or amending the Indian Penal Code (IPC) or Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) for this purpose, MoS for home affairs Hansraj Gangaram Ahir told Rajya Sabha replying to a question from Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agrawal during question hour.
The government should walk the talk against vigilantism by enacting an anti-lynching law - Masuka.

Mon, Aug 28 2017Elder,
Because they come out on bail, you decided to lynch them ?
Any decision on following :-
Illegal cattle trade in Goshalas
Staving cattle till death in Goshalas
Sales of dead cows from Goshalas
Sales of bones and skin of cattle from Goshalas
Lakhs cattle butchered in BEEF export factories
Million of ton of BEEF exported from India under pink revolution. Pradhaan Sevak was making fun of it sometime ago.
You stop everything above then all theft will stop.
But, you just have problem with fellow indian consuming little meat.
