Aug 28: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that YSR Congress Party President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy incites people for violence and has compared him to rape convict Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.
Speaking to media persons after his Telugu Desam Party (TDP) won Nandyal Assembly by-poll he said that Jagan, just like Dera chief, is ‘threatening the system’.
Naidu said that Jagan 'lacks dignity and spreads hatred' and his 'behaviour and verbal abuse turned a smooth election into a heated one and caught national attention'.
"I have never seen any leader stooping to such low. Jagan has also spread lies that many works started off by the State Government were not implemented," lashed Naidu.
Asserting that development was the lone agenda of his party, Naidu said that TDP’s victory is because of credibility and people’s trust in them. Nandyal people know Jagan’s reality and gave him a befitting reply, said Naidu.
It is believed that Jagan Mohan Reddy’s comment "to hang and shoot the CM Chandrababu in middle of the road" was the main reason for negative impact resulting in his party’s loss in the by-poll.
