Mangalore, May 26: Power supply to Byndoor, Shiroor, Navunda, Kollur, Talluru, Nada, Gangolli, Gujjadi, Trasi, Hemmadi, and adjoining areas in Udupi district will be disrupted from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, June 3 and June 5.
A press release from Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd. here stated that this was to facilitate Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) undertake development work on the 110-kV Kundapura-Navunda line. Nitte, Ajekaru, Bailoor, Nakre, Mundli, Palli, and adjoining areas in Udupi district will go without power supply from 9 a.m. up to 6 p.m. on Tuesday as the major works division of KPTCL would be erecting a 220-kV tower at the location 210. Power supply to Manipal University campus, Alevoor, Manipura, Mudubelle, Palli, and adjoining areas will be disrupted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday to facilitate maintenance work on the 33-kV MAHE and 11-kV Mudubelle feeders.
Anegudde, Vaddarse, Chitrapady, Giliyuru, Bannadi, Manuru, Kota, Sasthan, Saligrama, and adjoining areas will go without power supply from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday owing to maintenance work on the 11-kV Annegudda, Venoor, and Sasthan feeders under Brahmawar sub-division.
