Pakistan Foreign Minister to visit China


Beijing, Sep 6 (IANS): Pakistani Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif will pay an official visit to China on Friday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said on Wednesday.

Chinese leaders will meet Asif and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will hold talks with him, Xinhua news agency quoted Geng as saying.

China believes the visit will boost practical cooperation in building the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and communication of both sides on international and regional affairs, the spokesperson said.
