Two army porters injured in Pakistan firing on LoC


Jammu, Sep 7 (IANS): Two Indian Army porters were injured on Thursday after the Pakistan Army violated the ceasefire by resorting to shelling and firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.

"Two local porters working for the Indian Army were injured when Pakistan army resorted to unprovoked shelling and firing," Defence Ministry sources said here.

"The injured porters have been shifted to hospital for treatment. Indian positions have retaliated strongly and effectively," the sources said.
