New Delhi, Jun 5: Rajesh Talwar, accused in the Noida twin murder case involving his daughter Aarushi, was on Wednesday subjected to polygraph (lie) test by the CBI which has formed 10 different teams to look into various aspects of the probe.

CBI, which took over the investigations of the case on June one, said the agency carried out the lie detector test of Talwar after he gave his consent.

Coming out with a statement for the first time after it took over the probe into the sensational double murders of 14-year-old girl Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj, CBI said the agency had picked up blood samples which were “still” present at the scene of crime.

Besides the blood samples, the CBI also picked up suspected finger prints, palm prints, blood soaked blanket found on the body of Aarushi and some more clothes with blood stains on them.

CBI director Vijay Sahnker along with his officials and forensic experts from AIIMS and forensic laboratory reviewed the case during which the scene of crime, available forensic evidence were discussed and an analysis of postmortem report was done.

“CBI has constituted 10 teams to look into various aspects of this investigations, which were being carried out in full swing,” the statement said.
