Here to stay, and looking good at it too, are the ladies of the saas-bahu serials, who are doing their bit to promote some of the products launched by Star TV and a number of companies.

In perhaps what is the biggest licensing and merchandising initiative on Indian television, Star formalised tie-ups with Big Bazaar, Home Expressions, Sia Art Jewellery, Forever Jewels, Craftsbridge, Parksons Games and Sports, Prakash Books and Indiaplaza in an event launched by the leading ladies of the Star Parivaar -- Sarita Joshi (Baa Bahoo Aur Baby), Sara Khan and Parul Chauhan (Bidaai) and Sucheta Trivedi (Baa Bahoo Aur Baby).

What's more, Star also unveiled their plans for showcasing the Star Parivaar Asia Wedding Fair 2008-09 in association with Introduction Trade Shows, which will be held across 10 cities in the country.

So, ladies, what are you waiting for? Time to go shopping!
