B'lore: Another Opiton to Get to City - Car Pooling Services at BIA

Bangalore, Jun 5: Passengers arriving at the Bengaluru International Airport will now have another option to get to the city, that of carpool. Zoom Airport Express is launching its airport and city transfer services on Thursday.

The company offers to drop off passengers from the airport to their doorstep at Rs 222 per person. The catch: you will have to travel with five others in a Tata Winger, taken to one of the company eight hubs and from there dropped individually to your house in a Tata Indica.

Passengers travelling to the airport will be picked from their house, taken to the hubs and from there to the airport. According to the company, this would cost the passenger anywhere between Rs 330 to Rs 380.

Of the eight hubs, only the one on KR Road will be operational on Thursday and the company plans to start services from BTM Layout and Indiranagar hubs by the end of the month.
