Panaji, Jun 6: The first-ever IT-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) conference which will bring together IT-specific SEZ developers from all over the couhtry and global facility managers of leading IT, software, ITES and BPO companies under one roof will be held in Goa, officials stated.
The two-day conference is organized by MMG Worldwide, a global marketing communications firm on June 27 and 28 in south Goa.
Officials stated that the conference will bring IT-Specific SEZ developers from all over India and facility managers of leading IT Software and ITES/ BPO companies under one roof to debate, discuss and learn how to better one's existing operations towards becoming a more efficient, cost effective, environmentally friendly organization.
This is the first-ever such conference which will be addressed by top Facility Managers of top fifteen IT, BPO, Software companies from India, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Phillipines, Europe and USA.
MMG press release mentions that giants like Nokia, Cisco, Larson & Toubro Infotech, Cap Gemini, Cognizant Technology systems, Ernst & Young, HSBC, Oracle among many others are participating in the event.
The IT Specific SEZ 2008 is designed for IT, ITES and software companies intending and planning establishment of new centres, expansions, reallocation of facilities, setting up of global delivery centres in IT Specific SEZ in India and to cost effectively plan their offshore infrastructure to realize a better return on investment.
"The participants will also discuss the future space requirements of Indian IT, ITES, BPO and Software industry globally," the release mentions.
Furthermore, they will also try and discover new opportunities to increase response and usability of systems while maintaining the quality and reducing the cost of inputs.
