Mangaluru, Oct 1: The team of life guards at Panambur beach, who had saved six persons from drowning on Friday, came to the rescue of two more on Saturday September 30 and saved their lives.
The two who were rescued from the jaws of death were Deepak (21) and Prakash S (21), both from Bengaluru. Both of them were playing with the waves when they faced danger due to strong waves. The team of life guards jumped into action immediately and brought both of them safely to the seashore.
The two were part of a ten-member team that had come here from Bengaluru. People from other districts on visit to beach often undertake activities and invite danger to their lives in spite of repeated warnings issued against venturing into the sea.
