Mangaluru: Failed attempt to enter jewellery outlet, thieves ransack medical shop

Mangaluru, Oct 2: In a failed bid to enter a jewellery shop at Kapikad in city, the thieves left a neighboring medical shop totally ransacked.

The incident came to light on the morning of Monday, October 2.

The thieves who wanted to loot from Kamakshi Jewellers and the cooperative bank next to it, entered MedPlus medical shop by breaking the wall. When they failed to gain access to the jewellery shop from there, they ransacked the medical shop.

 

The owner of MedPlus medical shop spotted the ransacked shop and the big hole in the wall when he came to open the shop in the morning.

Canine squad and finger print experts visited the spot with the police personnel.

A case stands registered at Urwa police station.
