Bhatkal, Oct 3: Bodies of two boys who had ventured to the seashore at Murdeshwar near here to play on Monday October 2, were found on Tuesday October 3 morning.

The boys who lost their lives in this incident have been identified as Ganesh Naik (12) and Vinayaka Naik (14).

The boys, who belonged to Sannabavi village near Murudeshwar in the taluk, had gone to the seashore near their village to play on Monday. As they did not return home, a search was launched for them but the boys were not found. It was suspected that huge waves might have swept them away.

The search operation was continued till late into the night but it did not succeed in finding the boys.

The bodies of both the boys were found deposited on the seashore in the same village on Tuesday morning.

A case relating to this incident was filed in Murudeshwar police station.

Very sad.Two children are lost simply when they had gone to play. What does it mean two bodys were deposited on sea shore? Were they found or someone kept their bodies after found dead or any other foul play ?Heartfelt sympathy to the family.Parents should always keep their eyes on small children when they go to sea shore. They are not in a age to decide when they start to play in water .All of a sudden waves can come and not in a situation to comeout ,so parents can help if possible.

It is a terrible tragedy as the two young boys were found dead at Murdeshwar seashore. This is a wrong time for anyone to venture into the sea with this unpredictable weather. This year many lives have been lost in the sea and many have been saved by the lifeguards. May the souls of Ganesh and Vinayaka rest in eternal peace. Sympathies to the bereaved families and loved ones.
