Vijayawada, Oct 4 (IANS): A couple was kidnapped and murdered in Andhra Pradesh's Ongole town, police said on Wednesday.
The couple, who went missing on September 28, was found murdered on Wednesday. According to police, the man who had taken a Rs 15 lakh loan from the couple allegedly murdered them.
Srinivas Rao, a businessman, and Pramila Rani left their home on September 28. When they did not return till late in the night, their family members lodged a complaint with police.
The investigations revealed that the accused killed the couple the day he kidnapped them. The bodies were dumped near Ongole bypass road.
As the couple was demanding the money back, the accused hatched a plan to kill them. Police have arrested the accused.
