2002 Gujarat riots case: Zakia Jafri's petition rejected, upholds SIT's clean chit to PM Modi

Ahmedabad, Oct 5 (Zee News): The Gujarat High Court on Thursday rejected the petition by Zakia Jafri, widow of slain Congress leader Ehsan Jafri, upholding the special investigation team's (SIT's) clean chit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several other in the 2002 riot case.

On February 28, 2002, 68 people - including Ehsan Jafri – were killed by a mob at Gulberg Society in Ahmedabad.

The petition, filed had challenged the lower court's clean chit to PM Modi, the then Gujarat Chief Minister, and 58 other people.

It demanded that they be accused on charges of criminal conspiracy behind the riots.

Jafri can now to approach higher forums for further investigation in the case.

In the past the nostalgic old advertisement 'Nirma' known to give Indians "doodh si safedi" wash for dirtiest laundry.
Now BJP has taken over the 'Nirma' thanks to the Gujarat High Court which gives criminals, murders, rapist, riot mongers and fake encounters 'clean chit'. Indeed BJP is 'shining India'.

Like new NIA head selected for his outstanding service to the Gujarat government who has helped closing the Haren pandya and fake encounter cases, now Judges will be made Chief Justice in the coming days.

If Videos are there, forget court, why you / they are not publishing it to public ????

If judgement is on sale, why your congress did not buy that ???? It would have been easiest way to finish him than fighting election. The cost would have been max 5% that congress is spending to contest and win the election all over the country.

Are congress leaders are fools to let go such an easy opportunity to finish their biggest political rival ?
Have you ever thought about it ???

These people have royally fooled you guys and you guys are living in your own illusionary world created by congress without letting you know.

If riots of 2002 were planned by the ruling government, then what about the riots of 1969 and 1985 when Congress was in power? People cannot be fooled anymore. Remember it is the repeated raking of Gujarat riots that brought Modi to power. If the opposition continues with the same issue, definitely Modi will remain in power beyond 2019.

Really liked you mentioning you brother of mine. Yeah, its responsibility of every Indian to support fellow Indians but some don't get that point and indulge in criticizing or killing the other, for one or the other reason.
Coming to your point of "provide all proof to supreme court and grill BJP permanently", in spite having strong evidence of video footage that Modi was indulged and was a master mind in Gujarat Riot, he got clean chit and if provided with other evidences as well, it will be disposed off immediately as did earlier and yet again, he will have clean chit until he has his chela's working in the said Dept.'s.

Then you must go to some International court of Law or Human Rights commission with Video Clip.

After all, being Indian, You can do that to save your pitiful brothers back in India !!

The SIT was constituted and it conducted probe under the watchful eyes of Hon Supreme Court.

During the investigation and filing closure report by SIT, Congress was in Power at the Center. There was no way BJP could influence either investigation or closure report.
