Mangaluru, Oct 5: In a suspected suicide bid, an unidentified person jumped into River Nandini near Sashihitlu on Thursday, October 5.
The incident took place at reportedly at 9:30 am. A girl saw the person jumping into the river from the bridge connecting Haleangadi’s Kadike to Sasihithlu. It is said that that the witness duly informed people who in turn informed police.
Personnel from Mulki police station and fire brigade rushed to the spot.
The body is yet to be found and search is on.
