Bangalore, Jun 11: The High Court on Tuesday admitted a petition filed by Bangalore City Connect Foundation (BCCF) to set a deadline to complete all projects that are linked with connectivity to Bangalore International Airport (BIA) and directed Infrastructure Secretary and BBMP commissioner to produce the details of the projects.
The infrastructure secretary and the BBMP commissioner had said in the court that they are planning to develop 46 roads connecting the ring road leading to the BIA besides constructing magic boxes and install synchronized traffic signal lights to regulate free flow of traffic along the road connecting the BIA.
Advocates G R Mohan and Krishna Bhat of BCCF filed a writ petition requesting the court to set a deadline to complete all projects that are linked to connectivity to the BIA.
The High Court division bench consisting of Justice Ram Mohan Reddy and Jawad Rahim admitted the petition and directed the infrastructure secretary and BBMP commissioner to produce details of all projects that would be taken to improve connectivity to BIA at its next hearing on Friday.
