London, Jun 11: European audience can now watch Bollywood mega actor Shah Rukh Khan in mini-screen as leading Indian entertainment channel Star Plus will telecast a reality game show anchored by him in these countries from Friday.

Kya Aap Panchvi Pass Se Tez Hain will be telecast in London on every Friday to Sunday at prime-time, Patrick Corr, Vice President in charge of Distribution and Sales of Star Plus said in London on Tuesday night.

“Inspired by ratings-winning US game show concept, Are You Smarter Than A Ten-Year-old, Paanchvi Pass signifies another exciting milestone in Star's ever-burgeoning catalogue of crossover programming,” Corr said.

Paanchvi Pass sees Shah Rukh Khan playing the role of schoolmaster as he takes audiences and contestants alike back into the classroom.

To celebrate the show's launch in the UK, the Paanchvi Pass 'Quiz Squads' will be visiting towns across the country, giving away bags filled with goodies and memorabilia, Corr said.

During the preview launch of the show at the Courthouse Hotel Kempinski, owned by NRI entrepreneur Joginder Sangar, in London, Corr said: “Now it's time for the adults to have some fun, as they get the chance to play big kids and beat off the other classroom swots, battling it out to win the ultimo to pocket money jackpot of Rs.5 Crores.”

Star broadcasts over 60 television services in nine languages to more than 300 million viewers across 53 Asian countries, he said.
