New Delhi, Oct 11 (IANS): The Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) student wing on Wednesday staged a protest outside the busy Rajiv Chowk station in the heart of the capital to denounce the Delhi Metro fare hike.
About 30 students from Delhi University's Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS) gathered at Gate 6 of the station and demanded a rollback of the fare hike.
"What made them increase the fare twice in the same year when there was no hike for eight years? Why didn't Delhi Metro speak about losses all those years?" Anmol, a CYSS member, told IANS.
