New Delhi, Oct 12 (India Today): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's famous blue WagonR was today stolen in New Delhi.
The car was stolen from the Delhi secretariat - the seat of the state government that Kejriwal heads.
Kejriwal was not currently using the car, after having it given it up in 2014. The Maruti car was currently being used by the Aam Aadmi Party's media coordinator Vandana Singh.
Singh lodged a police complaint at the IP Estate police station saying that the car was stolen at around 1 pm today.
The car, along with Kejriwal himself, made headlines when the AAP boos travel in it while campaigning for the chief minister's post, which he won in January 2014.
The car was seen as proof of Kejriwal's 'aam aadmi' credentials with the Delhi chief minister refusing to use a government vehicle even after assuming office.
