New Delhi, Oct 14 (TOI): Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's car, the blue Wagon R, which was stolen from outside the Delhi Secretariat, has been recovered from Ghaziabad.
The car was found from Mohan Nagar area of Ghaziabad.
"A car of the same make color and model has been traced in Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad. We are verifying the engine and chassis number," Delhi Police said.
Kejriwal's blue WagonR had become synonymous with his 'common man' image. These days, it was being used by a functionary of the AAP's media cell.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader's blue WagonR was stolen from near Delhi Secretariat on Thursday. The car was parked outside the Delhi Secretariat. It went missing around 1 am.
In 2015, the car made headlines when AAP supporter Kundan Sharma, who had donated the blue WagonR to the chief minister, demanded its return, to protest the ouster of party leaders Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav.
