Five thrashed on suspicion of carrying beef in Haryana, over 15 booked

Faridabad, Oct 14 (IANS): Five Muslim youths from Faridabad district of Haryana were thrashed by cow vigilantes who suspected them of transporting beef in Mujessar area, following which members of both the groups were booked in different cases, police said on Saturday.

Police said Isaan brothers Mohammad and Shahzad along with Shakeel, Sonu and Azaad Mohammad, all residents of three villages in Faridabad district, were thrashed by a mob of cow vigilantes on Friday when they were carrying meat in an auto-rickshaw.

Police on Saturday registered a case under Sections 148, 149, 323, 341 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code at Mujessar police station against unknown 15-20 persons for thrashing the five youths.

Police said on a complaint by Faridabad's Sanjay Colony resident Bajranji, the five youths too were booked in a cross-case under The Haryana Gauvansh and Gausamvardhan Act of 2015.

"A laboratory test has since established that the seized meat was of buffalo and not cow or its progeny. After the report, 15-20 unknown persons were booked under the IPC," a senior police officer told IANS.

No arrest has been made as yet.

Such cases are always registered against unknown persons inspite of taking law into their own hands. All such incidents are only to divert the attention of the common man from the failure of the Gujarat Model and mis governance.

One and only accomplishment of NDA ruling in India, BAN BEEF and initially created an environment for such atrocities.

Now out of control and blame everyone for BEEF issues. Look at new central minister from Kerala, stated that all visitors to India should eat BEEF before their arrival. No sense in such statements and hopeless situation.

Today we see no plans to provide governance and act against those who do such atrocities and only eye wash to register cases.

This is utter non sense from this govt. BJP is neither creating job opportunities except like these rowdies nor allowing people to eat thier normal food. BJP is only bothered about its survival through these communal means. Its not for long Hypocrites, soon you too will go hungry. Just an eye wash excercise by police , these thugs will be treated well and released soon with clean chit as they are required for future missions.
